Her recent Endeavour was THE SAVE THE FARMER CAMPAIGN- Felicitating 100 COTTON FAIRTRADE farmers with ESSENTIAL kits in a village called Palamedu in Salem in Aug 2022. She also initiated a distribution of dry ration kits to 100 farmers on Kisan Divas Day on 23rd Dec 2020 amidst the Covid crisis. She joins the FAIRTRADE movement, an organization from Germany working with 1.9 million farmers and 75 countries, to empower farmers.

About the Author: An 8yr old girl had a chance to visit a farm. She had envisioned a farm to be a happy place where farmers cultivate and reap their harvest, trade their produce and live a healthy organic life. But reality was not so. She was shocked by the impoverished state of the farmers. The people who are responsible to bring food to our plate, do not have money even to make a decent living. Thus was born the mission “ Save the Farmer”..
