It has always been a private space – me, a pen and a paper. Many a time, it was just an experience of holding a pen, staring at the paper and wondering ‘What’ and ‘How’. Years later, ‘those’ pent up emotions found a vent in the form of spontaneous expressions onto the paper. I wondered again, “Who flared up the flair?” Assured only of the divine grace and inspiration, I deny my little head’s pretensions. The zeal infused in the poems is the authentic assertions of my observations and experiences on diverse thematic concerns. The Seraph and the Cherub referred in the poems are my children whose ‘substance’ as children has left not only an indelible creative aura but also has given an impetus for research on Children’s Literature. The global Pandemic COVID ’19 is another phase that crystallized my poetic fervour, asserting the healing power of poetic diction. Besides these are the lavish poems

About the Author: Ms. M. IDA, M.A., B.Ed., M. Phil., is an Assistant Professor in English at RMK College of Engineering and Technology, Thiruvallur District. She has been teaching English at various capacities for 18 years. She is a SET and NET (English) qualified professional. She is a versatile writer and has nearly 70 poems to her credit in both English and Tamil. Her poems are the byproduct of her observations on Children, her interest in diverse social concerns, and that are deeply inspired by varied emotions and experiences. She has been a Language Trainer for various private concerns as well. She has published several Research papers at the National and International level. She is currently pursuing Ph.D. in Children’s Literature..
